New Forum for Debate, please

Founder, please move the Debate to the Political forum or start a new forum. I used to really like the General forum and others but will the debate headlining every other post in this forum I now find myself avoiding it and frequenting another website all together.

The Debate is politics. Please move it or start another forum so those of us that enjoy this website can enjoy it once again.

What the Hell!.....Half the posts on this site turn into a "debate" to some degree or another.

I am fully aware that I probably throw gas on half of them.....so skip that comment. Somebody has to be the dickweed.

Who is going to monitor what should be moved to the "debate" forum?

Besides that, without some of these dumbazz "debates", the site would get boring in the off seasons. I relish the witless humor they produce.

Same people who move stuff to the campfire or wherever now, the mods. Besides, how hard would it be for the SFW debaters to see a forum titled "SFW Bullsh!t" and figure out that's where their arguments and comments belong? People seem to be smart enough now to know that if you want to talk mule deer you go to the friggin Mule Deer forum.

Geez, so simple, and it only took ten posts for someone to come up with the answer!
 
If it's titled SFW bullsh!t then folks would debate that it's not a BS section and the most enlightening part of the forum, which offers free advertisement to SFW and the makers of Kool-aid. The debating over how great that section is would spill over into the photography & classifieds sections and defeat its purpose.

... you're right, if I don't like it I don't have to click on it. I enjoy a good meaningful debate as much as anyone and have been known to engage in a few myself. But if there's gonna be a debate then GET ON WITH IT!!!!

It is not a matter of not clicking on it. Every other new Subject is about the DEBATE. I pull up the General forum and have to look for subjects not in the debate. If the debate was all under one subject that would be great but that is not the case or possible.

How about a Beat the Dead Horse forum. Would be a pretty good catch all forum.

New poster here. Just signed up to be a part of the debates about SFW in the general forum.

OK......just so I am up to speed here, WTF is SWF or SFW or whatever the debate is all about?

I might have some valuable debate information to advance if I knew what the topic was to begin with.

Technically this will count toward the total debate post count considering that's what it pertains to. Now if one was to discuss proper gardening techniques for prairie dog attractants, that would go toward general hunting.

Whatever news you have won't matter. Those that agree with Don will still agree after the debate and those that hate him will still hate him.

This has nothing to do with the number of responses to a subject.

Maybe we should just merge the Utah and general forums. Call it the general Utah forum and move it to the top of the forum list:). As a former UTopian It doesn't really bother me, I on occasion like to keep tabs on my former home state (also the reasons why I've stayed away). I just expect that the majority of topics in any forum on this site could be Utah related after all it is owned and operated in Utah.
 
Nothing worse than a long fuse time delay bomb. I hope it doesn't turn out to be a dud. I will check back later. I am going to watch the grass grow which is equally riveting.

I have to agree with littlejoe.
I have been a regular on this site for some time, but my patience is wearing thin, trying to find posts that just wants to talk hunting.
It appears to me that many of "the more level headed MMers" have stopped posting on many topics because if you do, it just turns into a name calling pissing match.
I have better things to do than argue over the sport I love.
