new challenge

im thinking of buying a pistol to use for deer season next year i just want a new challenge ive taken all my deer within 70 yards so why not try it. my question is what would you use if you were hunting with only a pistol?

I've killed one with a 454 casull and a leupold 2x-7x on top at 85 yards. Thats all I've ever killed with it.

i used a .41 ruger blackhawk to take a doe a few years back had a 2x scope. shot her at 68 steps did the job. that .460 s&w would be a lot of fun to play with as would a xp-100. i would think anything from .41 on up.

s&w .44 mag. ive whacked a coyote at 80 yards w/ open sights. handed it to my step dad and he whacked a jackrabbit at 40 yards, his first shot with it.
