New Bow Advice

Looking to get a new bow. Looking to upgrade from my '80's vintage Hoyt that feels like it weighs 25 pounds with an axle to axle of 9 feet (compared to the new stuff). I don't do anything hunt with it, typically elk, so weight & length are most important. For whatever reason I prefer aluminum over carbon, with mechanicals.
I know this is a broad question, but what's the "best" out there now?

Look at this bow I've been checking out bows a lot and spend a lot of time on the internet researching. This one seems to be one of the best.
