I purchaced a Bowtech Allegiance 2006 and love it. Almost bought a mathews, I'm glad I took the time to shoot the Bowtech. What's everyone think about Bowtech? Who else shoots Bowtech?

I bought a closeout 2005 Allegiance.
I love it!
Before that I shot a Bowtech Pro 40.
The Allegiance shoots faster and flatter.
Took a turkey with the Allegiance last week.

I love my allegiance. First bow I've owned that doesn't let me think about replacing it. In fact this is the first year that I didn't buy a new bow in a long time.

I have had a 06 allegiance for about 2 months now. Love it. Can't wait for archery season.

Congrats on the new bow, it is very top of the line. I shoot a Matthews Switchback, but if I were to buy something else other than Matthews, it would be the Allegiance.
Good luck and have fun!

I shoot both an 05 Alegiance in 70lb and a 06 (smooth modules)in 60lb. Love them--I didn't think I'd ever find a model that would keep me as happy as my Patriots. The allegiances do. In fact, the 60lb Allegiance with smooth module shoots the same arrows as fast as my maxed out 70lb Patriots and is butter smooth!

After owning an 05 Allegiance I never thought that I could would ever find a better shooting bow. I was wrong, I got the new tribute and the allegiance went up for sale, that tribute is an awsome bow.

It was between the Allegiance and the Tribute. The two bows are so similar it was a tough pick. The only problem I have with the bow is it is costing me more money every time I shoot. I'm destroying my vanes, haven't robbin hooded one yet. I'm ready for a dozen more arrows though.

I have had my Allegiance (70 lb./fast mods) for about 2 months now. Best bow I have ever shot. My first round of backyard shooting produced a Robinhood, and I have since busted several nocks and stripped vanes. That bow is not only quiet and smooth, but the speed and consistently tight groups is what you notice. The only gripe I have, and it is a very minor one, is that the bow wants to tip forward a little too much -- it makes it a little uncomfortable to shoot and carry -- but a little longer/heavier stabilizer helps to some degree.

Arrowhntr - I saw your post about Wacems. Have you shot these out of your tribute? Any probs?

Hogliver,

That is what I am using right now, and the wacem broadheads shoot good out of the tribute.

I just ordered my new Tribute!! I'm stoked. I ordered the Tribute with speed cams in the Black Marble Finish. Should be a pretty unique bow! I can't wait to start shooting it. I'm going to deck it out with all black accessories and it should be a real looker.
