1st time hunting that unit, Put it as my 4th choice with 5 points. You can never complain about a Nevada tag especially as a non resident. To tell the truth I was really focused on an elk tag due to having 17 points. I'm really excited to get out on that unit.

Congrats! I got early rifle. You probably drew because they increased unit 10 muzzy tags from 80-220 this season. More than doubled your odds. Good luck!

Thats a really fun hunt! Guess I wasn't paying attention-went from 80-220?? That's massive for an area that is not doing well at all. I guess most ML hunters in this area have no clue how high they have to get to find good bucks. I will be curious to see what the success rate is. My favorite area in all of Nevada but will beat the hell out of ya mentally and physically. At least it was always that way for me. Good luck to all that drew in the Rubies. Fun place and knee replacement should be covered by insurance IMO! LOL Except for FATROOSTER as he is half mountain goat!

115 is South of the Highway. It’s the unit surrounding great basin national park.
Deer season is December 1-15. Five resident tags and two non res.

Yeah I got a late season archery mule deer tag as an alternate 2020 so I know how it could turn a frown upside down. I sure have wanted to hunt antelope but maybe next year.
