Nevada bull success

This was my first archery kill and my first elk hunt. I shot him at 35 yards quartering away as he was coming into water. He is a 6X6 with one extra point on each of his first points. What a blast! I can't wait to get him back from the taxidermist.

Congratulatins on the nice bull! Looks like a burn fringe area from the pictures. Just another example of a nice westrn bull elk. What a great way to start out in archery! Enjoy!

Nice bull. I sure am seeing alot of success come out of Nevada. Great!! First bull, first elk-hunt. That is amazing. I bet your hooked. I harvested my first bull last year. A big 6x7 that grossed 375. I was starting to wonder if I'd ever harvest a big bull. The success only re-kindled my fire for archery. Keep shootin' straight.
