Need some help Reg B

When we put in for this hunt we did not know where the ranch was at we were going to hunt on. Come to find out it was in 22 and that is a Limited Quota Hunt not a General Hunt. So we are stuck looking for another ranch or public land to hunt on. Does anyone know of a ranch to hunt on? We will pay a trespass fee. There are 5 out of state hunters 2AZ 2WI and 1MN. Or if anyone is willing to give us a starting point on public land? Thanks in advance. Mike

Call the game warden in Douglas, WY. He is pretty helpful from what I have heard, and would have information about landowners. I hunted around Bill, WY years ago, on the Thunder Basin Grasslands. I only hunted it for two days. Did see some bucks, but it was a long time ago.

Nevermind, I think what I hunted was probably Area 22, back then it was a general unit. I would still talk to the Game Warden.

Mike, I forgot to mention to call the processors. I use Herrick and Garrison and have for some time. Give them a call and they might be able to hook you up with someone outside of town. 358-3340 Like I said before , I'll be there a week or so before you and can let you know what I have been seeing if I can get out and scout some besides trying to arrow an speed goat. Email me around the first of Sept and I should know when I am headed out there and we can trade phone numbers etc so I can fill you in. If I stay late enough in the month we can have a drink in Bill and talk things over. The town has doubled in size since last fall so it would be easy to get lost there. There should be something like 5 buildings in town now
