Neat saturday finds

Went deer hunting on saturday to an area near my house where I also find the majority of my dink sheds. I found a really old 2 point mulie first that I must have walked by 25 times in the past, weird how you find them sometimes. I was hiking the side of a ridge later and glassed a white spot along the creek bottom 500 yards below and bingo its a deer skull, a buck even. Looked to be a whitetail from where I was. It was getting semi late but I figured if I bailed straight off in and back out I should be okay for time. So I did. I had this horrible feeling it may have been a buck I was hunting last year as the last time I saw him last year he was limping somewhat. Anyways I got down to the creek and started down to the skull. I came around a corner and heres the skull and I could clearly see a big dual eyeguard on one side. The buck I was chasing last year had huge dual eyeguards on both sides. At this point I figured it was him but then when I got closer I could tell it wasn't. It must be one of his brothers, kids or dad, something. Its only a main frame three by four whitetail, not real long beams, huge eyeguards, and one of them is split. Its a pretty neat skull to find. I'm thinking of staining it to get some color back in it since it is one of my fave finds. I've done better on finds this fall than I did in the spring. I'll try and get some pics up of my fall collection.
