Greetings!

Max points from my long term pal kicked out this tag in 2024. I told him years ago if he ever drew this tag, I would help him out. Truly once in a lifetime and I may be just as excited. The hunt season runs from September 2 to September 14.

I’ve never been into that country myself, neither has he and we are starting from scratch after just getting the news on results.

There’s only 10 total tags, and without max points your odds to draw are about one and 300+

As a long-term member of M/M, I’m asking for a solid, anyone that has experience with the hunt or the country and can provide any online support general recon, expectations and general habitat that is holding the elk. You guys have come throw so big for me in the past and I’m truly grateful.

Pretty excited for my pal and look forward to sharing our experience with M/M. September 2024 is going to be one for the books.

HUGE area. I only have time in a small portion of it and not in elk season. But was over that way last week and saw 8 bulls Friday evening. 5 in one group that had one nice bull 3 small bulls and one MONSTER. Another group of 3 had one nice bull and 2 small ones.

The groups were about 2 miles apart.

We see elk most years in the Blue mountain Devils Garden area during this time of year and sign that appears to be from year round use.

I will PM specific locale of the two groups we saw.
