This is a 7x7 bull I found this spring, it has a 5x5 frame with a cheater coming off the 4th and then 2 devil points on one side and one on the other. I think he was an old bull going down hill.

The deer was about 1/4 mile from the road, and the elk was about 1 1/2 miles away. both in utah

If these bones were that far off the road, how come you are driving a four-wheeler right up to them unless you found them along a four-wheeler trail? I think OFF-ROAD on public land is illegal and you should be careful. Great finds anyway!

Notice the need for wearing warm clothes when you are hunting sheds off a fourwheeler!

elk, ya I knew that was coming, thats ok.

FIRST OFF-I was not hunting sheds I was working, I just happend along the deer skull, SECONDLY-I was on BLM which is completly legal, THIRD-I am in close contact with the BLM and had permison to ride off road.

In regards to the elk I was shed hunting and had hiked my butt off that day, and it was found 5 months later than the deer.

Boy you guys are so quick to judge.

I hate hikeing my butt off into an area only to find atv tracks every were, just as much as the next guy but it makes my job a whole lot easer and quicker to use atvs.

That is a good catch on the tracks in the sand. Unfortunately, that is the exact reason why all public lands should be closed to off-road travel. It isn't illegal until too many people use (some say abuse) the resource and Utah's shed areas are over-used by ATVs. I guess just a continuation of the "can of worms".

idd lick a cooke.........i mean, id like a cookie. Got some on your fourwheeler?

Luckybutthunter, "id like a cookie"? who is id? you have no room to correct people smarta$$.

Nice finds, everyone here seems to be beyond reproach. By the way, I shot a spike last year if you want some trash on me.

All you guys who are griping that JakeH here found these on his 4-wheeler are a bunch of hypocrites. Don't tell me that you didn't use a 4WD to get to the area where you "walked" to find your sheds. If you used a vehicle to get to the area - then you are guilty of the same thing you are accusing Jake of. Guess what - NOBODY GIVES A CRAP ABOUT YOUR SHED HUNTING ETHICS! If you ask me - the whole practice of shed hunting is a bit unethical and fanatical to begin with, but guess what - NOBODY GIVES A CRAP ABOUT MY SHED HUNTING ETHICS! Get off it and let people live and work. It's obvious that Jake has stated he found them while he was working and he was on BLM land with permission to be on a quad - so eat your cookie and SHUT THE HELL UP!

Nice finds Jake.

Thanks for sharing!!!

"so eat your cookie and SHUT THE HELL UP!" That is funny, and true to boot.

Monroemtnshedfreak, you went through alot of troble creating a new login name just to bash me on a few miss spelled words, I noticed that luckybuckhunter only had one post, so I checked the IP address on all of your posts and his and they matched.

I see you apolgized on the other thread, but I wonder now if you ment it.

You didn't spell luckybuckhunter right. Oh, and id is the abreviation of I would, it's a punctuation error, not misspelled.

In defense of Monroemtnshedfreak, Im actually a friend of his. Yes, I only had one post. That is because I havent logged on here in a long time, but I was reading through the forum and thought i would comment. Nice finds, but i can see where he was comming from with the 4-wheeler jokes. I just hope you really were (just working). The cookie comment, yeah that was me just messing arround. Dont take offense. No harm done.

Lucky, monroe sent me a PM and we are ok, everything just got blown out of proportion. Monroe I sent you one back.

In regards to my spelling, I know Im not the best speller in the world but the above were done in haist and I didn't read it over before I sent it. I shouldn't have sent it in the first place.
