I just got my mount back from the taxidermist and thought I'd share a few pics and the story. Last winter a friend and I spotted this buck in a WY valley. The first and second picture is from about 800 yards. He's about 2:00 in the circle. Second pic shows a zoomed in right antler and head.

The next two pictures are as they they.

Then me holding them on a shed buck skull.

Then my talented artist rendition of what I imagined he'd look like when mounted.

Followed by a few as it happens pictures. You can see this mount and many other great sheds and heads at this years AntlerFest in UT, June 11th, and 18th. Watch for our flyer in local sporting goods stores and at the ISE show in SLC at the Trophy Hunter booth. Hope you enjoy .

Awesome. Two questions. What does he score and is there beer in those two refers? Congrats.

talk about a great story! Looks like it turned out just like you imagined it. Awesome!

Thanks guys
He is 38 wide, grosses 197, and is 33 1/2 on the frame. Also, yes, there is always beer in the fridge. Good luck on your shed season.

Great post.
thanks for sharing the photos... before and after.

I like the drop antler with your mount. Very fitting.

Yellum,
Thats awesome. I like how in the picture of your drawing you can see the picture of the mount in the background on the computer screen. I love that mount though. If i ever find big enough sheds to mount i think i will do it like that.

Very nice, That is one nice mount got me think that might be the way I do my big one( if I get him soon) LOL
Think you will have any luck drawing a tag for the area he is in, so next fall you can have him mounted again. Good luck finding him this fall.
