My MT waterfowl season ended

These two birds are referred to as Quill Lakes Geese. Supposedly the Quill Lakes region in Sask. has this gene that makes these geese have different coloration. Who knows, both ended up at the Taxidermist

It was a great time and one which I am sad to see end as we are still covered up in birds.

You could have sent a few south. I had the worst season in 30 years, few birds have made it through the Dakota's yet. We have sandhills cranes coming back north. According to the Game Commission they have never seen that in December and January. Sixty degree weather has made all hunting difficult here.
Congrats on a great season. We didn't kill a goose from the blind this year. Three years ago we kill 117.
