My Daughter’s 2022 Antelope

My daughter drew a horns longer than ears tag this year with only 1 point, in a pretty good area that I have hunted quite a bit. We did some scouting and found several bucks that were worthy of the tag. On the day we were able to go out, we found this guy as the sun came over the ridge while he was chasing some does around the brush. She said she wanted to shoot him. After a few busted attempts and a brief rain delay, she was able to seal the deal with a perfectly placed shot at 362 yards from the prone position. With volleyball in full swing and school about to start, her goal was to fill the tag before classes began. She succeeded, and I couldn’t be more proud of her.
