Awesome pics. We'd all love to hear the story behind them.
Nothing better than chasing Deserts in the red rock country!
Well done.

Ya dun good!

Desert sheep are simply something special to quite a few of us.

Thanks a bunch all! We had a blast. I spent a total of 9 days on the unit with, I believe, 11 different rams spotted. The unit is at my back door so I was familiar with the area and knew if I held off long enough a good ram would show himself. Thats exactly what happened on my 9th day. My buddy glassed him up around 8am and the stalk was on. It took the three of us about an hour and a half to reach the shooting distance I wanted. With one shitty placed shot, he was down. I missed my mark by a few inches but it all worked out. I ended up killing him right up against the wind gate and had a steep ass trip back to the Polaris. To say it was a blast is an under statement. I truly had a time and hunt of my life. Thanks to my buddy’s and brother for the helping hand on this one. Love you all.

Well done Cliff1018,
It's hard for most hunters to pass that many rams with a OIAL tag but for sure it was worth the wait. Your patience and unit knowledge obviously paid off.
Beautiful classic Utah desert in some fantastic country. It also looks like you had some very good help.
Congratulations again and thanks for the recap.
