Went out for some predator hunting yesterday and on the first stand of the day called in this awesome bobber. Glad i picked up a couple bobcat tags before they sold out.

Careful JakeH some people here on monster muleys might say holding that kitty by the legs is disrespecting that animal.

But here is my thoughts. freakin bada$$ man

Beautiful cat! Plenty of people eat mountain lion (white meat), so no reason bobcat shouldn't be good. Let us know what you think. I'm trying to get one with my bow right now as well.

I absolutely love big tom Bobcats. One of the most underrated trophies in North America. Congratulations.

Way cool trophy! Congrats.

I've eaten mountain lion (delicious) but wouldn't have even considered bobcat.

Great Trophy, young cats taste pretty good, but once the Toms mature and start getting green belly they smell like rotten meat. So I would marinate it for a good month before you throw it on the grill.

Nice cat. I’ve killed several but have yet to try eating one. I’ve heard mixed reviews but I guess you won’t know till ya try it. May be your new favorite

I always have to try the Meat of something I kill. Lets me know if I should keep killing them. At least animals that require a tag or license to hunt.

Well cooked up some bobcat backstrap tonight for dinner, I was pretty leery about trying this but had several people say it was delicious so i decided to give it a try.

Cooked it on a frying pan with olive oil, seasoned with salt, pepper, meat tenderizor, and some green top mrs Dash.

And the verdict is...... its delicious.

The whole family liked it, my 3 year old kept asking for more and preferred it over the chicken I also cooked just in case lol.
