Anyone have any experience with these? I shot them the other night for the first time and couldn't get them to group at all. I'll give them another try and see, maybe I was having a bad shooting day. Just wondering what others have found.

I have not had god luck getting Muzzy's to fly consistently out of my last two bow set-ups and have buddies that have had the same problem.

John,
Sorry, haven't tried that type of Muzzy but....I am pretty hooked on using these Wac'em broadheads. I had to order them via the internet, they are not as big as the Muzzy's or the Thunderheads, but they seem to fly VERY straight, with MY set up, which is certainly similar to yours. I am definitely going to use them for hunting on my first ever bow hunt this year. The G5 Montec's are my second current choice. Definitely shoot whatever has the most consistency and accuracy for you. Good Luck!!!

Mike

Did you ever find anything else out about your bear?

Hi Mike.
I'm in limbo on my broadhead choice and hunting season if fast approaching. Thanks for the tip on Wac'ems, I also have heard good things about them and might give them a try, you right, we do have similar setups so it might be worth it.. Magnus Stinger 4 blades, and Slick Tricks are also on the list. If nothing else, I'll just have to go back to the old faithfull Muzzy 3 or 4 blade. I really like the design of the Phantoms, but if I can't get them to shoot, it's useless.
No, no more info on the bear. It was in such a remote area, even if it did die, no one would ever be back there to find it. Figgin sucks but that's hunting.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-18-05 AT 05:51AM (MST)[p]i tryed the phantoms they shot good out of my set-up but they buzzed and rattled . i went to rocky mt. turbo they fly great

I shot the phantoms again this weekend and it went much better. But still not as good as I would have liked from longer distances. I also shot Slick Tricks, right now, they are what will be on my arrows. I still have a couple more I'd like to try though.......
