I posted this in the general forum, but figured it belonged here as well...

Here's a couple of pictures of a nice nanny I videoed a couple weeks ago. The pictures aren't the best quality since they were pulled from video, but they will do. The first picture was taken at 4 yards, the next 2 were at about 60 yards. Any guesses on horn length or score?

Thanks,
Corey

I meant to ask how you got within 3 yards of this goat. Were you in stealth mode?
Nice shots.

In order to have gotten within 3 yards I would have had to be in stealth mode, but I was still 4 yards away, so just a normal sneak was Ok... :)

We saw them bedded on the back side of a hogback ridge and just kept the wind in our favor. Once I got to the hogback and peaked over, I couldn't see them so I slipped up along the ridge to another opening. As soon as I popped my head up, the nanny and kid stood up, 10-12 feet away. She stood there long enough for me to take the lens cap off, zoom out, and hit record for a few seconds. They ran out 50-60 yards and stopped to look back for 20-30 seconds before walking off across the rockslides.
