Not a monster, but my first antelope.

Next year I will go back to the bow, but I had to use the rifle this year to see one up close.

I thought the topic meant mountain goat but must be Montana goat. Congrats, looks like a nice one. What unit/zone were you in? I'm heading over in a week to hunt some private land in zone 3. Will be my 1st time for lopers. Did you see a lot that you had to judge a big buck & what did you look for? I heard to look for a big black nose.

Sorry about that KNOPHISH, I of all people should know better.;-)

Is this better?

I was hunting region 6, close to home. I had a bigger one that I screwed up on, but I wasn't too picky. I just wanted to get one on the ground so I could go chase what I really want this weekend.

Damn Miller, that's a nice buck....and the antelope's pretty nice too:) Good luck finding that guy come deer season.

geez craig,

that's a pointy muley you located there (no browtines?!?!). i hope you either stick him soon or pop him on the opener!

nice lope, too. i'll have pics of mine to post late next week.

Congrats Miller,

Looks like we might be in for a comeback, huh!;)

Sure hope you can wax the buckies butt. He's a pretty one!

Well, I also thought this was a post for a mountain goat, so imagine my suprise when I see a Montana Pronghorn. Then, mtmiller, realizing the confusion he has caused us, rubs salt in my wounds by actually showing his Mt. Goat pictures to us and then driving a dagger into my heart by including a picture of a "gagger" buck he's hoping to tag. Congrats on all your animals, and good luck on the muley, I hope your successful.
