I found this article on KSL.COM today.


Moving deer from one area to another has always been a topic of conversation and disagreement here.


It will be interesting to see if the deer actually survive and very intersting to see the cost.

Yep, will be interesting to see how it goes. The DWR didn't want to fund the deal since they've done it several times before with little to no success. So, SFW will be footing the bill, something like $1000 per animal (100 total). This translocation is supposed to be a new way, so the BYU guys are heading up the study. Would love to see it work.
