Mountain goat cape wanted

Hey guys. I just filled my tag on the nebo archery mountain goat hunt. First archery kill! Shot a nice billy right before dark. We couldn’t find blood or the arrow after hours of searching so we backed out. We found him the next morning but the meat had spoiled. It was pushing 90 degrees with a low of 59. Very unfortunate. The taxidermist told me we could look for another cape from a mature billy and still do a shoulder mount. Damn that sucks! Your best bet would be to post on Craigslist in anchorage AK as lots of guys shoot mt goats there and sell the capes. Maybe post on rockslide too

Nice goat! For sure you want to save that memory in the best way you can.
By far, more goats are killed in BC and Alaska than in the US, so the above suggestion may give you the best chance of finding a cape, or checking with taxidermists up there.
