I have my suspicions that more of that type of thing goes on than any of us know. I've lost enough hunting ground to big money that I hope they all go down !
I think they need to raise the fines on this sort of blatant poaching although the 15 years loss of license was a good start. This is a lot different than some kid that gets turned around and shots a deer 50 yards off a boundary line. As for me I'm tired of the majority of outdoor television. Same thing over and over again on big money ranches. I'd rather watch my Old Larry D. Jones video's of real hunting without guides and private property. IMO
I'd like to see some kind of blowback on the Networks that show these.
Maybe the "chit" will roll downhill and get in front of the problem a little. Wouldn't be surprised to hear your wanna be "stars" being told by the networks to "do whatever it takes".
Yup. No problem with harsher penalties for that kinda stuff. Fines seem kinda light financially almost.
I've been enjoying the abundance of self filmed videos that show up on youtube and vimeo every year. For every dozen that are shot on a camera phone there's now someone with decent equipment producing a solid 15 minute film about their hunt. Cheaper than cable too!
