Pretty thing. I’ll always have a soft spot in my heart for Yellowstone bulls. I used to drive from Gardiner to Cooke City every once in a while(all 4 seasons as well) and saw my fair share of the wolves having their way with the elk.

Them jelly-stone elk have it much harder than the average wapiti. There’s about 40 bulls within 10 miles from my house and it’s winter all right but not yankee Jim canyon cold and a lot less teeth to worry about.

The only time the Wasatch front bulls get chased by k9s is when ol Sean Morgan and his lab are running the bulls around looking for sheds—-and most are still packing at least one side!
