Why am I not surprised you are from Idaho. There is no state in the Union that has more fear and hatred of hispanics than Idaho. Regardless of whether you are legal or not, one only has to read letters to the editor at the Statesmen.

Just for the record Huckabee was inagreement on this issue as well.

Given those statistics one would think the good folks of our country, especially Idaho voters would no longer support the GOP given their failure to protect our southern border.

But then again it's difficult for Idahoans to fit in those voting booths given their wide stances and all....Joking!

One other item you left out of the laundry list is 12 billion a year going back to Mexico's economy thru money transfer. B of A being the largest facilitator of those exchanges.

At least we get a lot of work out of the Mexicans, for all investment we have in the Iraqis we can't even get them to run their own country.
 
working construction i am around a lot of mexicans. i cant stand there mexican music and when they dont speak a word of english. i have talked to a lot of mexicans about crossing the border and there way of life there. i kinda feel bad for some of them. not saying i like them but just feel bad for them. some stories i have heard would bring a grown man to tears wich our too graphic for here, but here is some of there stories, they have never had cold milk, never had a hot shower, never seen a toilet, work hard there for 15 hours a day and they were only getting paid if pay was good $8 a day. i know we have a lot of problems with them and what not, and its hard because there our a lot of them that bring misery unto us but at the same time they our just trying to make a way of life. one day i put myself in there shoes and thought id do the same thing. only $8 a day i asked? well the vehicles and what not must be cheap i said, they said no they are more expensive there. and everyone i have ever talked to have left there wife and children back in mexico besides one brought his family. they all work here and send money back to them, if they have to leave there family to survive, thats when i started feeling bad. also said cant afford hospital or birth control there so above ground sewer/canal is full of dead babies and garbage.
 
This whole thing is our own damn fault. we have too many dead beats that won't do the work the Mexicans will so we need them. if we had a worker visa program years ago these guys could come up here legal and work for an alotted amount of time, then return to Mexico and their family. it would be a win win deal for all.

Social programs has created the laziness. It has also created the want to come here - free medical - free social security. Give us a break.

I get sick and tired of working my tail off and yet 1/2 the money I make goes to pay for the laziness of this country.

More goverment programs the more it cost - PERIOD.

T, FTE, DUDE, CREAM where in the hell is your senses? We cannot help those who do not help themselves.

And what about the "Health Care" the dems want to provide now - where will that money come from??? You guest it you and me. And everyone else with a job.

Cut social programs, enforce the laws on the books now, send illegals back home, punish buisnesses that hire illigals, the cost of those goods will go up - because those buisnesses will have to hire workers at a competitive salary.

Several of our problems in the US would be solved or at least put in the right direction - economy - health care.

How do you figure work not getting done will help the economy?

Let me ask all of you who think businesses should just pay more to get Americans to do the job this, first what would it take to get you to quit your job and work on a farm or in a processing plant or some dirty hot dead end minimum wage job? don't give me any crap about well not me I mean someone else , I mean you. 99% of the people who want to work in this countrey are working, what we have left is those who don't want to work and another couple bucks an hour isn't going to get them off their butts. so let's say you reach a price that will get you down on your knees 12 hours a day in 100 degree heat picking strawberries part of the year before you're laid off and don't know what you're going to do until the next harvest, will that grower be able to afford your demands? if he can't and his buyer won't up the price he's willing to pay then you and your berry farmer are out of business, maybe you can go back to your other line of work but the berry farmer is broke and his dollars no longer spread around town and the country and best of all we have no berries. don't tell me just hire a welfare bum, they don't want the job and you're not quiting yours so where does that leave us?
Unless YOU want to do the jobs these Mexicans are doing don't say some other American will, they won't.

If you can find a way to get bums off their butts and then the illegals out I'm your #1 fan, good luck with that.

I'll I said was there is no shame in having compassion for your fellow man. Compassion is not approval of illegal status! Maybe one day you'll have the opportunity to argue with Jesus over the matter. Better yet, vote another Republican administration into office, since they've done such a great job with border security.

As for half your money, go to the IRS website and take a close look at how your dollar is spent.

One other thing it's "business" and "illegals", this is why we need to make English our official language. If you were educated here and can't pass 3rd grade level English, you go to the head of the laborer line.

So we send our cheap labor back home, increase the cost of goods, and cut all social programs. By doing this, it is going to help our economy and health care. I can see you've really put a lot of thought into this.
 
russ one day we'll have to get together so i can tell you about all of my been there and done thats, but of course it would take days, beanman that took me like 15 min to think of.
