Rod i absolutely love all your pics. You do such great work with addin scenery you feel like your pickin the thing up, it's like i'm out shed huntin:D.. What kind of camera and lens that's not super pricey would you prefer?
 
Thanks for the kind remarks. Glad you enjoy the shots. Even though they aren't the best I agree that capturing an image of a big antler in its natural surroundings is the preferred way to share the find and these shots are pure ATL. In answer to some of your questions, I'm not sure if this is the same bull or not but suspect not. As far as what would I suggest for an inexpensive camera and lens, my answer usually starts with a few questions. First off, what is your budget? What do you want to take photos of? How close can get to your subjects and what do you want to do with the images?
