My uncle drew ogden moose. We have mixed feeling about this unit. Winter kill was an issue a few years ago and the DWR has been taking moose out the past few years and trading for who knows what? They cut the tag numbers back alot which will hurt drawing odds but for those with a tag it will help with pressure. I still think there are some good bulls. I guess we'll find out

You hit the nail on the head. Mt Green had road kill as well as So fork. Plus shipping them off. Middle fork or browns hole is where I'd look first. Then Mantua cutler basin. Third Nordic valley lewis peak area.

Friend had the tag last year. We were hard pressed to find a good bull. Lots of small bulls. Ending up shooting a 40" bull with very little palms an single brows towards the end of the hunt. Very disappointing. Last year they offered 42 bull tags just in the draw. Not what it used to be thats for sure. Not sure what the DWR is thinking, looks like they are going for qty rather than quality. Good luck.
