I consider N. Idaho as the CD'A area and north...you've got a few moose in that country...Priest Lake,Pack River have good populations...problem with N. Idaho is there is so much private ground that sometimes access can be tough....you'll just have to work around the private and get to the public....or ask permission
yeah Ihave found paddles up in that country...At least the priest lake part...But I was hoping to do some shedding in Canada for some really big hogs....You have any ideas on the Pack River....I am quite familiar with it...I have killed a few muleys in there...
answered on the other thread but I'll give it a shot here too...access is the biggest problem...all the roads are closed and ya can't cover any real ground on snowshoes. Think a snow machine is about the only way to cover any ground and then ya gotta pound it hard cause all the other snowmachines are out there too and they're picken em up when they stumble onto em...so ya gotta be fast and first? You probaly know how those moose will hang and bed on the roads and that's where alot of sheds will be...right on the roads.
