Well, it's that time of year again. The leaves are off and the sheds I missed in the spring are starting to show themselves. :)
Found all these moose sheds while hunting for muleys and moose today.

As They Lay. Show's how hard it is to find these buggers when they turn green.

Been looking for a General Season Immature (Spike/Fork) Bull for the last month. Have seen lots of mature bulls, but thus far have not found the elusive immature. But this shed proves they exist. :):)

Saw this little guy in there today. Had his antlers all polished up. Thought it was a little early but he's already pounding the brush.

can you be my hero?? just kidding you must have a great spot.
my question is was the horns hanging in the tree or did you put them there?

LAST EDITED ON Oct-16-04 AT 10:59PM (MST)[p]Brandon,
Muley season has been open since Sept 10th. Haven't seen anything of any size yet, 160 class being the biggest. Most of the big boys don't come out and play until Nov. I've been spending a lot of time looking for Bullwinkle Jr. Having lots of fun with the bigger bulls, just haven't seen a legal Spike/Fork yet. 2 more weeks and moose season will be over for me and I'll start focusing all my attention on finding a Slammer Muley. :):) Got until Dec 10th, so I still have lots of time.

4X4,
I always hang the sheds I don't want in trees. That way I know if I've seen that shed before years down the line. I like to take a photo of the shed as my keepsake. No point bringing crap home. :):)
