Moose shed this time

This is a set of moose sheds I found in 2005. I found the bottom shed first and went back to look for its match. I never found it, but close by I found this set!

I found the right side first and this is how it lay.

I had to go back through an area I thought I covered good. It is so thick were these moose hang out you really need to pound it hard to find em! This is how it lay. This side is a little better.

I later used them as snow shows to get up a steep hillside. It worked pretty good.

This is the single I found a few days before. I even saw this bull in 2006 but no luck on those ones. Hope you like the pics!

WOW! Great pictures Burn! I haven't checked in here for a while and I'm glad I finally did! Thanks for keeping things interesting here in the shed forum.

I love the moose paddle snow shoe idea. I can think of a time or two when I wish I would have been that smart. Instead I just ended up with a mild case of frostbite on both ankles!

Thanks again for helping pass the time in the off season. Your pictures and stories are great!

You should bring a pile of your sheds down to the AntlerFest next year. I think you'd really enjoy it and I know everyone would enjoy checking out your sheds as well.

Check out our website at www.antlerfest.org. The information is from last year but we should have it updated within a couple of weeks. We just need to lock down the details as to where and when it will be for sure.

Thanks! by the way nice pics on your site. I went this year to antler fest and sold some of my whites. Maybe you you saw me dragging around a brown elk shed that was retarded at the base. It was was fun I even fot a nice whitetail shed to add to my collection. Let me know what I can do to participate next year!
