LAST EDITED ON Sep-23-09 AT 10:01PM (MST)[p]me and my buddy were huntin today in unit 444 and drivin around in Lime Park we seen a nice Bull Moose i was amazed haha first moose ive seen in the wild and a big bull for the western slope standards.

he was around some angus cows that a guy i know is runnin up there and they didnt even care

like i said first one i seen in the wild but still i was stoked

I've seen some huge bulls just north of their in the Route/White river NF.

but being from Utardia, it aint all that special to see them.Its funny that they have signs up all over for elk hunters saying "moose in the area, dont shoot them" LOL. but i guess if a Llama can get mistaken for an elk, a moose could too!
