Moose in unit 2

Any past unit 2 bull moose hunters out there wanna share the experience? Not looking for areas, just interesred in overall satisfaction with the area.

congrats 360! you couldnt have picked a funner unit. you have a 2weeker or the 3 monther? have any idea where you want to go?

Buddy drew a cow tag couple years ago and only hunted 2 days and had two shots with a bow. The second he had to shoot a cow with a 45" next to her at 15 yards. He can't complain though he has a 55" on his wall from 1-4. There are moose all over the north end of hoodoo.

Had a good bull running along 95 just south of sagle on my way to work this afternoon. Looked decent, but still really early to know just how big he is.

hoodoo mtn. and rathdrum mt. namely north side.. brickel creek out of spirit lake. m41 road. seriously cant go wrong. bulls beyond the norm are present. get in in end/ mid sept. before inland paper shuts the roads down. you'll have fun. hoodoo is good all 3 months. i just wouldnt want to hunt that area when deer and elk season is open.expectations of bulls beyond 40". absolutely..
