Just saw an interview report on our TV morning news. An older couple in their early 80's living in Alaska tangled with a moose yesterday. The husband went out for a morning walk and was attacked by a moose. The man was knocked down and repeatitly stomped. The wife hearing his calls for help said she "went out with a shovel and to clobbered the bugger until the moose finally just walked off into the forest" 
The husband spent the night in the hospital with cuts, bruises and stiches.
Just goes to show ya....never piss off an older lady with a shovel....
