I just got back from a short trip to Montana and saw about half or less the Whitetails I have in the past on a typical trip like this at this time of year. Yes, they were on private.
I chatted with a local old timer from Dillon and he said that the 22/23 winter took a heavy toll on them. I didn’t know that Year’s winterkill went that far north.
Can anyone expand on this or do you agree or disagree with his assessment?
