Ive been on a few shed hunting trips up here in NW Montana after I heard a friend of my dads found a fresh set of muley sheds during the first part of Febuary. This year we have had a extremely warm and dry winter and it seems like most of the deer and elk are hanging up high in there summer range. Ive found two small sets of fresh whitetail sheds and a couple old "garden antlers" so far. I also found a dead cow elk( lion kill?) and got her ivorys. Overall it was a crazy Febuary since alot of the areas that are hard to access due to the amount of snow are easly accessable. I was wondering how other shed hunters are fairing in this weather? Is anyone in Montana (or anywhere else were the weather has been unseasonably warm) managed to find and good pockets of sheds yet?
