What are the draw odds like for montana? Are there many units? My buddy who lives there says they hunt the east side of the state, but I didn't ask about draw odds or units. Any help would be appreciated.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-18-07 AT 07:19AM (MST)[p]go for a unit 700 tag ( the whole eastern 1/3 of the state), odds are about 50/50 or better... or you can go for the 900 archery tag which are unlimited.
Ive drawn the 700 tag 3 out of 4 years. buy a archery stamp and start hunting in Sept and if unsuccessful the rifle hunt starts Oct 1st....
