Monster Whitetail Skull

Went huntings whitetail sheds over the weekend. Found five sheds and a huge skull and rack. It gross scores over 180 with 6" bases. It's bigger than a lot of the muley skulls I've found. The mass is unbelievable. It had been there a couple years, but was still in great shape. No chew marks or cracks.

I was thinking the cause of death was probably old age. The teeth were pretty worn down. He could have taken an tine to the gut during the rut. There was no sign it was anything other than natural causes.

What luck! Along with finding the skull you know your area has some sons and daughters of his running around. I'm anxious to get out to the hills myself.
