I have not hunted archery for about 7 years. I have a Wyoming Moose tag. Bought 125 grain cutting edge Monotec G5 broad heads as was recommended by the archery dept. Wondering if anyone has had experience with these? Thanks, Greg

LAST EDITED ON Aug-22-07 AT 03:30PM (MST)[p]I bought a set this year but have not put them on as my 100 NAP Thunderheads are flying really well. I have not seen the G5's effect on game yet but three of the guys that I hunt with have been using them for a couple of years now and the Motec's fly and match up well with thier field points. I have heard that this is very common and the only bad thing I have heard about them is that they are not as sharp out of the box as some of the others. Go to: www.archerytalk.com and do a search and you will find out what several people are saying about them.

LOVE them! They fly great and are deadly. Never chased moose but thay are elk and deer slayers. Buy em' and stick one right behind the shoulder on a big old bull, and then show us your pictures.

I shoot them and absolutly love them, and I think that they shoot better than my thunderheads I shot for a few years, hope I helps.

HUNT HARD EVERY DAY!

I switched from thunderheads to the montecs when they came out and love them. They are a devestating broadhead that takes a fraction of time to tune versus the thunderhead.
