Cameraland is running a special on these binoculars with a $500.00 savings and a friend of mine is thinking about getting a pair. Can anybody comment on the optical quality of these bino's? fatrooster.

Their huge and the eyecups feel uncomfortable to me. Glass is OK. Would not buy them again even at that price.

Optically outstanding, and a real bargain at that price.
They are big and heavy, but what decent 15X isn't ?
Bottom line, the glass is good enough to keep your eyes on them for hours on end.
Yes, Swarovski is better, but for 1/4 the price they work very well for "glassing."
