What would you pick and why? I'm leaning towards the M1083.

I don't know. It is a three seater, but the middle seat is like a kids chair.

I haven't been keeping up with whats out there these days. I still get all horned up when I look at Steel Soldiers though. LOL

My old deuce dumper had the continental all-fuel. Reliable as heck but needed power steering and a muffler real bad. The next gen had the Cat engine and ditched the duels which is a plus.

If i did that phase of my life over, I would have looked for an ambulance or tool truck configuration. Fun stuff.

Window arrangement seemed like it could have had a back bench. Looks like motor could be hard to get to.

I'd pick the one with the cheapest tires to replace. ?

Again, it was a few years ago but spare parts for military vehicles were cheap and abundant. Including tires.

A 5.ton has PS, and some of em have AT.

A turbo deuce really runs.

Have you ever seen a shortened deuce? The remove the rear axle of change to bed to a step.sidetype
