I played a few songs yesterday for people that left this world way too soon.
Just wondering if any of you did the same & which song/songs did you play/sing?

BBop, I went to the veterans section of our local cemetary yesterday for services. My pops is buried there. After the service I was walking back to my truck and I passed an older couple. He was wearing a jacket that said "Korean War Veteran". I stopped and shook his hand and thanked him for his service. Tears welled up in his wife's eyes and she hugged me.

That's the best thing that has happened to me in a long time!

The local band played TAPS. I miss my dad a lot!

My favorites are:
Some Gave All by Billy Ray Cyrus.
God bless the U.S.A. by Lee Greenwood.

TAPS brings me to tears every time i hear it. When i was in the army on the rear detatchment we had to go to every division funeral, taps on bagpipes is one the sadest things in the world.
