Meeker Outfitter killed

I dont post much on here...but I read a lot.

I wanted to share this story...we lost a great hunter, guide and friend this past week.

Gene Scritchfield, Sable Mountain Outfitters, was killed in a tractor accident.

I hunted with Gene last year and had planned a 2009 hunt with his boyz in the Flat Tops.

I never met the man but if you got to go, that story and the nice words said, says a heck of a lot about the man. Sounds like we all lost a good one. Rest in piece Cowboy!

Very heartbreaking story. Sounds like one of the truly good guys. All we can do is pray for this young mans family.

I'm sitting in the hospital waiting to welcome my son into the world....life can change so quickly, its a scary thing. What a heart breaker, I can't even begin to imagine what his family is going through.
