mechanical broadheads and rubber bands

I use a mechanical broadhead that requires a rubber band at the tip to hold the blades in place until impact. Where can you get extra rubberbands for these or is there anything else to use. I had heard to tie dental floss around them. Does that work?

They are the same rubber bands used for dental braces. Go see an orthodontist, they should have millions of them on hand.

you can use O rings that are at any hardware store. they work great

Rockets come w/ plenty of spare o-rings when you buy a 3 pak.
I'm sure most archery shops either have them,or can order them,for the specific head your using. I don't think I'd even concider "dental floss". :7
