We took a couple coolers and bought dry ice in Rawlins. Everything was frozen solid in short order. It will keep well until you either need to add ice or get home to process your own meat. We bought more dry ice in Lander later on the trip...or just use a local butcher.
We froze capes and meat and went on to archery moose hunt for a week with no loss at all.
