Correct me if I am wrong, but was not the consensus that Mitt Romney was more experienced in the field of economics then the other canidates. If so, might be a good matchup for VP since the economy is a big issue.

If he wants to run again in 12, it may be a good move, give him valuable congresional experience that seemed to have been the big knock on him. Though, I don't think it will happen. Personally I would love to see McCain run with Leiberman.
