Matched set to make my year

Here are a couple of pictures of my son with my best matched set ever. My buddy and I have been out about every weekend in the last month. I found one side, only to be lucky enough to find the match a week later and about 3/4 mile apart.

I have to thank my buddy for handing it over. We were actually walking to the area we planned to hunt on an old two track. Not looking at the road because we were too busy scanning either side, he actually tripped over it.

Sounds like you have a good buddy. I was shed hunting with a guy that has the match to a very large deer shed that I have. I found the first one, and he started running around and found my match before I could. He still has it. I recommend that you clarify the arrangements before you go shed hunting. Now, I let everyone know that if I find a big shed, they can go their own way for a couple hours while I search. It is good to find out who gets the match so that everyone is happy. I know I am still pretty disappointed. Thats why I shed hunt alone these days.
