I read the book and felt the owners were frickin idiots that shouldn't own dogs. In my opinion the wrecked a perfectly good dog by how they didn't train it. My mom thought the book was great though.

Against my better judgement I let my wife talk me into seeing it. I thoroughly enjoyed it and may or may not have had a few tears jerked in the process. I also have a yellow lab and he is about 10 yrs old and all I could think was Dont die Willis!

THe book was boring! I kept waiting for something really exciting to happen. It didn't. The movie was just as lackluster. At the end the dude across the aisle from me was just SOBBING. Some big ol' boy in his Big Smith overalls....just crying his heart out. Sobbing uncontrollably.

I laughed. My husband elbowed me. He was crying too though. I may have been the only one in the theater not crying. Heartless b*tch aren't I? ;-)
