Maine Moose 2021

Thought I’d post a picture of the moose I called in for my 12 year old son. Not a huge one but he is happy to have drawn the permit and shoot his first moose Shot with his 6.5 CM, one shot, frontal, went 50 yards. (Not interested in “lack of gun” comments. Obviously it was plenty ….practice more)

He was using Federal bonded 140 gr. I almost always reload Barnes for hunting but just ran out of time and he was able to keep a one inch group at 100 so we just went with it.
