Whats the scoop? What is the verdict out on these little guys? Should I go ahead and invest in a few of these? How do they affect the arrow's performance?

Well first off they add about 30 grains to the weight of the arrow. I bought one just to mess around with and it shot ok but it would only stay on during flight. As soon as it would hit the target it would turn off. Come to find out the contacts are too short and only connect during the shot when a lot of pressure is on them. There is nothing I can do to fix it, I'm just out 8 bucks. Not worht the cash imo.

They are illegal in Colorado. Nothing with a battery is allowed on either the bow or arrow. I think it is a great idea to outlaw something that can aid in game recovery;)

They are also illegal in Washington and Oregon and against the rules for Fair Chase. An animal can NOT be entered for Pope and Young!!! No electronic devices on the Bow or Arrow!!! Check your state Game Regs!!! Good Luck

I think they look like fun but I cant bring myself to spend 8-10$ for a nock! Think about it. That can easily bring the cost of a carbon broadhead tipped arrow to around $30 depending on the head. No thanks.
