Luepold Gold Ring HD Spoter ???

I am in need of a new spotter and am considering the Luepold. Not interested in spending $2000 on a scope. How does this one perform. Pros/cons wouild be appreciated.

Love mine. Great glass, compares very well to my hunting buddies Leica. I really don't have anything bad to say about it, other than I wish it was the traditional shape so it would fit in the spotting scope holder on my Badlands 2200.

It's clearer and only weighs a few ounces more with the swaro 60. If I only had 4 to 6oo$ to spend on a scope i'd be happy witht the gold ring. I really like the soft case mine has on it it has a velcro cap and zipper.
