Lowa Ranger vs Tibet

I currently have both of these boots at my house and am trying them out. Both fit well and are comfortable. The tibet being a bit stiffer with more all around support. My question is for you that have used these boots, If I will primarily be using these boots for foothills and badlands type of terrain will the tibets be too much boot for these conditions. I like the feel of the support of the tibets but am worried after hiking all day if I would like the flexibilty of the rangers better. Whats your opinion. Thanks

For what it is worth, My son has a pair of the Rangers and he loves them. He actually wore them on his Dall sheep hunt and they worked out pretty well for him despite the rigors of that hunt.
I don't know the Tibet, but all the reviews I have read rate the Rangers as a top notch boot for sure. I would have my own, but they don't make them wide enough for my feet.
