Love them shed hunters

LAST EDITED ON Jan-20-10 AT 09:50PM (MST)[p]Was out Chukar hunting Monday and ran into a couple of shed hunters,, we got to BS-n and swapped a little info.
They told me bout some spots where they been seeing birds, and i told bout a couple hidey holes where no doubt they would be packin some nice bone out..
I just checked out one of the spots for birds, all i got to say is i sure hope them boys find plenty of bone.

Thats a hard one. I love hunting chuckars, but I think I Would go with the bone.

Nice to see sportsmen getting along like that. I personaly wouldn't give up a shed hole for a dang bird but to each his own. Glad you had a good hunt.

That last comment makes me sick to my stomach...just leaving horns out and walking away, wow. I'll buy you a GPS and you just mark them and let me know. You wouldn't have to worry about me killing all the birds in the area because I have no desire to bird hunt...because they don't have antlers.

Well looky here,, I guess them boys ain't very good bone collectors. I went out to check out the other Chukar spot them shed hunters told me about. Dang near walked the soles off my boots, and never raised a single covey..
All i found was a bunch of stinking ol sheds.
I had to pick em up cuz i sure didn't want to have Yoyak running around sick to his stomach..

That is some funny stuff. you might have just started a bad habit. I would much rather pick up a horn than shoot a bird any day, and I have killed my fare share of birds.

Way to go on the chukars and sheds Runamuk!

Why not do both? Antlers look better on the wall, but chukars sure taste better on the dinner plate. Kill two birds with one stone.....
